Ben Hilton

A Mancunian living in london, Ben has been shooting and cutting videos since graduating from Surrey Institute of Art in 2003.

While living in Manchester with no money to carry on shooting short films, he started shooting promo’s with local bands like Omerta and The Answering Machine, enjoying the way music videos are a platform to experiment with stories, ideas and camerawork in a self contained way, no matter what the budget. He's continued to work with Kate Walsh, Turin Brakes, Sam Isaac and Rolo Tomassi amongst others and look forward to many more.

He also loves working on drama, having directed or produced several well received shorts on 16mm, 35mm & HD, including Sunday Morning (CobraVision winner) & Dear Steven Spielberg (CIFF Nostiman Imar Award).

Ben is currently directing multiple viral ads commissioned by Heidrick & Struggles, and also producing ‘Justice on the Grass’ a broadcast documentary on the justice system in Rwanda, directed by Glen Milner & Gille Klabin.
